Beautiful, misty winter day, two locations.

About The Mill That Once Were:

Those Ghost-Like Trees:

From The Past, Today:

Winter Stillness:

And then to that second one. At that point I didn't have too much time and my "few hundred meters in the forest with lot of hills" did turn to "1+ kilometers to one direction in the forest with lot of hills" thing because I couldn't park where I've parked before. And I didn't have much more than one hour to that hike and these photos so it was pretty FAST-FAST-FAST kind of photographing there... but I'm glad that I did get there. Since my last visit one wall were gone and I suppose it might be sign of final The End for this house that were built at early 1800s.

After All Those Years:

Light The Silence:

Lonely Days of Winter:

Painted Dreams:

Floating Above It All:

Cognac Time:

Until The End:

That Hollow Emptiness:

Looking Through The Past:

Childhood's End:

Names and Numbers:

Riding Away:

Layers of Time:

118 Years (it was painted at 1905):

At The End (Everything was Changing):

-----

And today's off-topic-bonus-photo comes from the same day (not too much snow here at this winter):

That's all from that day.

Nice! Always a pleasure to see your posts

Ghost like tree is one of my faves in this set.

Childhood's end tells its own story...the patch on the heel speaks of a boot well worn long after the foot outgrew it...a testament of days when things were fixed or repaired rather than just discarded.

Lastly, the painted hearth from 1908...oh the stories it could tell!!

Great shots Wolf...cheers my friend !!

I love the colors so much. The sort of desaturated vibe drives home the cold winter feel so well

Probably my own favorite too - especially that tree there looks so damned good.

And that is so true, in the past things were more valuable than today when it seems to be more like buy --> throw away --> buy circle.

Thank you sooo much my friend!

Not too cold. Something like -4 Celsius, didn't feel too cold without wind. Except my hand that are frozen all the time.

Been love in that tree for... loooong time. It's one thing that did make me fall deeper in this madness. One photo from it were published as stamp... can't even remember how many years ago. That photo were sold through photo agency, so for me it was just one ordinary photo sale, didn't expect how local newspaper did get to it and co-workers did wonder how "now you are rich". Hell yeah, if I don't remember wrong, I did get something like 40 euros from that one. xD

Anyway, I still love how that tree looks, still keeping return to photograph it again and again and again.
