Lots of debate online today about what I did here on both sides of the spectrum.

Some say "take only pictures", "Leave No Trace"

Some say I gave new life to the room.

I say, I just had an idea and I finally found the perfect room to execute that concept.

I found this house a few weeks ago, a pretty good hoarder house, every room is fucked, there are several holes in the roof and not one section of the floor that isn't covered in piles of trash.

So, I came back and decided to empty the trash from room and do the best I could to put it back together.

What do you guys think? Right? Wrong? Dumb? Interesting?

I time-lapsed it all here, I was there for about 4 hours.

For a spot like that that have no real historical value i think it's kind of free for all.

I have always thought that if you clean a room back to how it was before it's cool.

Doing cringe setup in spots with bunch of things that dont belong in the room is another thing.

Some say that if there was trash you should leave it like that but meh, in that case, who cares.

I think if it's not too far you should take daytime pictures! And broom the rest of the shit on the floor. lol

You're the first. How long did it take to remove all of that?

WOW

My take on this is "why not?"

I mean, the actual owners never cared enough to keep a space neat and orderly.
The mess was legit insane !
Your tenacity speaks volumes

I love the final outcome and it surely would be a mind f**k to see a room tidy amongst the shit show...I would be thinking someone was living/staying in room?

Im sure the debate can go back and forth but in situation where place is a gong show to begin with...meh spruce it up !! I would and do honor take photos leave footprints only when a place isn't an indoor garbage disposal....although I cannot say I would of cleaned up someone's junk....just my humble thoughts LOL

Thanks for sharing that was fun to watch !!

Explorers do this all the time on the east coast. Looks a lot better cleaned up than a huge pile of shit on the ground.

Keep doing it.

Reminds me of some of the art projects some explorers have set up in the Rocky Mountains, though ours tend to lean more surrealist compared to your historic restoration take on things. This is really cool!
