So in my home town I found this cottage, which had been abandoned since the early 1970's. There were a lot of old school books and other stuff, which were from that era.

1. The cottage

2. There was quite a mess inside.

3. This company was first a postal order company, but later became a warehouse chain.

4. Very old school books from the 1970's.

5. Maths assignments from the late 1960's and early 1970's.

Neat find. I would totally refurbish that to use as my personal chill spot.

It's great to be alive!

Nice idea, Emperor! Unfortunately the salvation comes too late. The roof was already giving in and by the looks of it all wood up there is pretty rotten.

You find lots of these type of places if that's what you like, forgotten by the family's or lost to time and the wilderness

Whoa, seeing places like this always makes me wonder what the history behind it is. Any information you could divulge? Or is this little cottage just a little mystery hidden in the woods.

The kid, whose math assignments are in the notebook, is now in his 70's and lives in Sweden. In addition to that there were some papers belonging to the same family but with a different address.

It might be that the parents moved to a more modern house in the suburbs in the 70's and the kids left to work abroad as a lot of people did that back in the days. Maybe the cottage was just a storage after that.

Those are just guesses, but that's all.
