This year didn’t start so good. First came news about death of Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom & Bodom After Midnight) and just few days later my Canon EOS 6D – which were so far my most expensive and most weather proofed camera – did broke. But two days later I did downgrade – I did bought used Canon EOS 5D Mark II to get rid of my withdrawal symptoms.
Anyway, this was my this year’s first UE-trip and last with that 6D. As you can see, we did get winter.

And then to today’s traditional off-topic-bonus-out-of-subject-shitty-shot. National park of Torronsuo is just 10 minutes drive away from my home. I’d use to love it, but then came Covid and people did go crazy and after that it have been sooo overpopulated all the time that I haven’t get there at all in last 1,5 years.
But then came snowstorm. Just –1 Celsius but with 12-18 m/s wind were... quite extreme, especially at open marsh where I did spent 1 hour photographing just this view. But I was right: you just have to choose weather right – I was only one there at that day!
So here we go again. Happy weekend (and this year too) for everyone!
