Information on this base is limited. It's formal name is the NATO Proto base. My best guess is it was built in the early 1950's and was decomissioned in the early 1990's. It is located in the Aurunci Mountains, in Campania, Italy north of Naples.

Today, the base entrance is concreted closed, but a group of film makers entered the interior in 2014. See that video here: https://youtu.be/douBYN1qeoY
