Abandoned Ontario hockey arena that was home to many minor league games pitting Canada against the US.

Closure was not related to COVID -- this one has been vacant
and decaying for many years.

The building was recently occupied by several homeless people who set up
a squatting area upstairs that was complete with sleeping bags, booze,
gum and, strangely, about a hundred thousand toothpicks.
Frigid temperatures inside now seem to have encouraged them to leave for the winter.
But I sat in dead silence in the dark bleachers for about half an hour waiting to hear if there was
going to be movement somewhere in the dark alcoves around me
before I started exploring.
