This random find during a exploring roadtrip in 2018 ended up being one of my favorite timecapsule houses.

This bachelor pad was the home of a avid musician. A drummer who had a minor brush with fame playing drums on one track of Kiss lead guitarist Ace Frehley's solo album.
His love and passion for music is evident throughout the home.
I can only imagine the parties and jam sessions that went on here.

Time everlasting
Time to play B-sides

So she ran into the bedroom
She was struck down, it was her doom

Early in the evenin' just about supper time

I think I'm turning Japanese

Go get yourself some cheap sunglasses

I sit around and watch the tube, but nothing's on
I change the channels for a hour or two

Stand up beside the fireplace
Take that look from off your face

You've got your big G's
I've got my hash pipe

I see my light come shinin'
From the west down to the east

I'll learn to work the saxophone
I'll play just how I feel

Slow spiral into morning

All Canadian Surf Club
Denim jackets and long hair

Years go by I'm lookin' through a girly magazine
And there's my homeroom angel on the pages in-between

Don't surround yourself with yourself
Move on two black squares

Well, the house is a rockin', don't bother knockin'

Wow this place so fun looking! Every single photo is filled with interesting knick knacks and furniture.
I like the lyrics (even though I only grasped a couple) ☺

It is only sad if it was stripped out by thieves. If his surviving family went through and saved/split up his things then that's a positive (to me at least)

This is really cool, I hope that the people who took everything inside were his family. Definitely very cool stuff and I would have loved to have been there.

My favorite is the sunglasses picture, but really all of them were well done.

Super cool man!

It was actually bought by someone with plans to fix up the house. I have no idea what happened to everything left inside.

Thanks! Even I still notice new stuff looking back through my shots. The lyrics span a variety of eras and musical styles, so I would be pretty impressed if anyone knew them all!

I was curious as to what the house was like these days. The lack of vandalism and looting here was really surprising considering it was wide open and on a well traveled road.
The lack of any family photos or musical instruments here lead me to believe the family had already removed any items of sentimental or monetary value.
The man who lived here did not have any children and was never married from what I could find. His obituary only mentioned a few family members, so clearing the place out completely might have been to much for them to handle.

I was actually saddened by how all that great stuff was still in there. I mean it made for great photos and, I'm sure, an amazing explore, but now that we get to enjoy these pictures I'm sincerely glad that all those records and things will get to do something other than rot. I mean I always take only pictures and leave only footprints, but I bet the guy who owned this pad would have wanted his stuff to be used after he was gone.

Great views! Love the perspective on many of these. Like the view from a wandering roach still looking for a crumb of bread. lol. What became of this guy? Did he leave everything for Stardom or did he meet with a tragic end? im not looking for names just pieces to the puzzle. Thx.

That hasn't helped but I'd be curious to know who he was too.

I did not mention the previous owner of this house by name in my original post as I was unsure if the house was still around and in good shape. I had a feeling if it was still standing it would not be in the same shape it was when I explored it. jackson106 has confirmed these suspicions.
Therefore I do not mind divulging more information.

The photo Hawkwind posted is, in fact, the last owner of this home. His name is Carl Tallarico. He lived in the New York City area until 1985 and then moved to Freehold, NY with other family members.
He passed away at the age of 65 on Tuesday January 17, 2017 after a short illness.
According to his obituary he worked as a musician most of his life and collected stamps.
As I mentioned in my initial post his biggest claim to fame was playing drums on the instrumental track Fractured Mirror off lead sing of Kiss, Ace Frehley's solo album.

He may have worked as a studio musician and would not have been credited for much of his work.
I'm sure the man lead a full and interesting life. Judging by his modest home he was in no way getting rich making music. But spending your life pursuing your passion brings a richness beyond money.
He seems like the kind of guy you would want to sit down with and listen to him tell stories over a few beers.
