Well, I've seen a lot of very cool UE photos around the internet for the past few years. As a 360 photographer, I thought it would be interesting to get some 360 UE photos. So I've packed my things and went out exploring.
On this topic I will post some 360 photos from time to time.

I've been searching other people doing that kind of photos so If you're shooting 360 too, please post here or tell me where we can look at it

First place is the Linseed Oil Silos in Montreal. I've shot 3 places, the Main floor, the Machinery and the Rooftop. See the full 360 tour with this link : Linseed Oil

Wow ... those are really amazing ... Great 360 immersive experience. The pipes in the maintenance floor are crazy, like being inside an abandoned space cruiser. And that dizzying view from the rooftop makes me want to make some of my snowshoe drawings in the snow below https://www.snowsh...ploads/urban7.jpeg

Thanks

And really nicely done!!!

That drawing in the snow was a little highlight of the exploration

I'm shooting with a 5D Mark IV and a 15mm fisheye Sigma lens mounted on tripod with a nodal head.
For the process I'm using Lightroom for HDR and exposure treatment, Autopano for merging, Photoshop for color correction and tripod removal, PTGui sometimes to make little planets out of the panoramas.

Follow the image links to Flickr for the ability to look around. I've messed around with the Samsung Gear 360 and I really want to know if there's a site or software that allows you to stitch together a sort of "street-view" from 360 photos. I did a couple of shots in each room of the house in #3 as an experiment, but I don't know how to put them together.

Hi Descent! That's some nice pics you got here
I would suggest roundme.com you can easily upload panoramic shot and put them together with spots.

That what I did for the Linseed Oil (you got the link on the first post) Even if there is a paid formula, you can upload panoramas and do the links for free!

For your photos, I don't know what software you use but I would recommand to correct the horizon

Glad to find somebody else with 360!

This thread is a great idea, I just wish this site and others were 360 friendly!

I host all of my 360 pics on Momento360, I didn't realize that Flickr supported 360 files!

Here are some of mine, you can click the link to open each pic

I have lots more but this is good for now

Also, my Samsung Gear360 works for 360 video but I'm not a fan of it in low light, but it was an interesting test.

Here is an interactive 360 video where the viewer can navigate around while I take them on a tour

A video rather than a photo, but I figured it's more likely to be seen here than in that section. Last week I tried using my Samsung Gear 360 for a short experiment, having never really played with video. I'm pretty happy with the results and will definitely try it again, but there were some major limitations.

Low light performance isn't great, but not too terrible. I actually have more of a problem with how blown out the final room is, though perhaps I could fix this in editing. Not sure what software to use for that, though. The biggest thing for me is how Youtube doesn't allow you to zoom out all that far. This looks great when I play it in VLC, and I love how different the experience of each room is depending on how much I widen the FOV. Youtube allows a much smaller zoom range, which really limits the potential.
