It's been a while since I sat down to post something here, so I have not one but three places to show you folks.

The first is a small farm by a busy highway, which contains a surprising array of personal items left behind given its exposed position:

1.)

2.)

3.)

4.)

5.)

6.)

Next is a disused inn catered toward skiers, which was partly renovated and put up for sale in 2007, but has apparently sat empty since:

7.)

8.)

9.)

10.)

11.)

12.)

13.)

14.)

Finally, and most interestingly, I discovered that a disused quarry area within walking distance of my house concealed a granite storage shed and a pump house. Though small, this turned out to be one of the better industrial sites I've been to this year, the kind I thought would be impossible to find in Vermont:

15.)

16.)

17.)

18.)

19.)

20.)

21.)

22.)

23.)

As always, thanks for looking!

EDIT: Missed one.

24.)

What are #18-23, an air compressor, natural gas?

What year?
That's purdy

I believe all are compressors used to keep the quarry from flooding. 18-19 is an Ingersoll Rand, 21-23 is made by the Bury Compressor Co., and 24 by the Chicago Pump Co. I believe 20 is the rear of a fourth compressor, but I didn't see a manufacturer's plate. The PSI and other details, your guess is as good as mine.

And I'm gad everyone likes seeing the pump house in particular because between driving down various backroads in the area and scouring Google Earth, I've already found two more such disused pump houses and various other remnants of the quarry industry here. Merry Christmas to me.

I could be wrong but they look like air/gas compressors especially that 2 stage one.
Either way,it be cool
