There is a thing with words like this

You hear it
You hate it
You mock it
You use it in sentences jokingly
You use is in more sentences jokingly
It becomes a natural part of your vocabulary without even realizing it

That is what has happened with the word bando!!

Sigh, he's right.

And yeah lie, do whatever it takes. My $.02 is "fuck the entire ownership class" We aren't talking about people's homes, here. These are mostly industrial and commercial facilities left to rot after the ownership class "business geniuses" failed to keep their little engine of commerce running and their workers paid the harder price. Fuck 'em.

Well said.

I find telling the truth when getting caught by the Five-O is the best way out of shit. Most cops aren't hard asses and can care less (at least around here) but if they got bars on their collars/shoulders then you sure as hell better tell the truth cause they know.

I’m sure the bars don’t really matter when it comes down to a simple trespassing lol. But hey whatever helps you sleep at night.

Never will; it sounds like it is.... lame.

Wait until he runs into a plain clothes or FBI Agents
They don't wear any collar bars that I'm aware of...

I’ve found doors are usually best. Sometimes the odd window here or there.

It depends, I have explored many different places under many different circumstances but I usually find the, “I’m just taking photos can you tell me more about this place” approach works really well.

I haven't crossed paths with anyone on my explores. Thank God!! But I feel like I'd be able to talk my way out of it.
Although looking back now I wish I had explored abandoned places when I was a kid or teenager. Minors typically get off the hook.

If a cop has decided to arrest you, you likely won't change their mind.
I have found it's best to be straight up with people especially LEOs and even more so with the FBI
It helps to talk to them casually and learn their mindset when you're not in hot water with one. I have/had friends who are cops.
There's a line you shouldn't cross with them, it varies from person to person.
Many will cut you slack if you don't push that line and don't lie to them.

I don't like lying to people, especially to a property owner. I definitely don't get enjoyment out of misleading people like I enjoy the rush of gaining access to a difficult location totally undetected. This is probably why I almost never explore active locations (semi-active is a different story).

One thing I do regularly when asking for permission is offer to provide free copies of my photography, as well as to photograph anything specific that they might want photographed. I find that this is often enough enticement to convince someone that is seemingly on the fence about granting permission, as a lot of these property owners are hoping to sell these places eventually.

I have also found that having a business card goes a long way with the above offer and seems to put some people at greater ease with my request.
