Built in 1942, Green River was an 8,000+ acre facility with approx 420 buildings and 4500 employees.
They manufactured RPG Bazooka ammunition, artillery shells, naval shells, bombs, rifle grenades, fuses and rockets for use during WWII.
Abandoned abruptly in 1945, and only a few buildings remain.
The assembly building I was able to explore had 7 lines.
1- 90mm armor piercing shells
2- medium caliber armor piercing shells
3- amor piercing bombs & large caliber armor piercing shells
4 & 5- Rifle grenades
6- fuses
7- bazooka rockets

Most of the buildings are either privately owned by adjacent farms, turned into businesses, or were torn down to make way for a landfill.
