And then… to tuesday morning at the start of September. First I did go to check one small farm that I did find last spring. Not too good photos from there I suppose, so I’ll take you immediately to second location. This is my 10th year with this well hidden place and once again I must say that even it still is such a beautiful place, especially those orange curtains comparing to darkness inside caused by spruces that try to hide half of that house completely… there is sadness (and madness) involved too.

When I did find it, it was almost completely untouched. Maybe 2 years ago someone did steal one shelf from there causing chaos too. And at last spring that bloody UE-photographers invasion did find it too. You know with that ”one goes there and soon you see photos from 10 different photographers from same place” style.

And now there are those hand made photos waiting to be taken. Teethbrush in waterglass! Small packages put nicely on fireplace! And so on, things that I hate. That sucks even more because most of those people seem to be doing this like ”17 locations in one day is fine but more will be better” and "why would I return anywhere" style.

But then… I just have to try to close my eyes from those and concentrate to those things that still are like they have been. So you probably think with these that ”I’ve seen this photo before", but hey, this is my style to do it, get back to take similar photos again and again and again, and everytime get joy from those photos. Yeah, THAT is real madness I suppose. But here we go.

When spruces came to see if it is true what they were talking in forest:

Today’s off-topic-bonus-picture shall take you… SURPRISE! To my Paradise. Saturday, week ago. I did wake way too early – it seems that my father's upcoming funeral and all shit that are involved have some effect to my sleep too - and because sleep was gone, I did decide to go to check how would weather be in my Paradise. For few moments it were pretty damned good, but then clouds did fill the sky and all mist and light was gone. It was pretty dramatic drop from light filled world to grey ordinary. But still… it was worth it. This was taken before sunrise.

That’s it until next time.

slow lonely days, the light on the chair

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

Stunning set as always, Wolfheart! I like that crooked picture in "Fading Dream", and "Moments So Real" really speaks to me (though I'll be damned if I know precisely what it's saying). "Weight of Silence" is my favorite...reminds me of the bizarre illustrations in a scary story series I used to read as a kid (which have been de-creepified in later editions).
Anyway, great work; and it's always nice to see Paradise again.
Cheers to you, sir...until next time!

Hey Wolf,

Beautiful like always.
Your "style" is awesome....the paradise bonus photo is gorgeous !!

It's great that you can re-visit for at least 10 years !
That's not really an option here, most places get dozed under when left empty too long.

Cheers !!

Nice detail catched; guess how it did feel there, in that silence - room was much darker than it looks in that hdr image so that light did look (and feel) much more powerful too. And of course: thanks for comment!

Thank you so very much, and good choices you have. That memory of book sounds very interesting... Thank you one more time - these comments feel good when you have been again quite down (you know, father's funeral at next saturday and going back to work immediately after that monday) and 5 hours sleep obviously doesn't make it better. Thanks for bringing some light to my evening (and that goes all who have commented). This absinthe shot goes for you (and all others)!

Thank you very much! And you can guess that I've been thinking that lot, how I'm lucky to live this time when there is quite much abandoned places... and also how they can be at least somewhat hidden in countryside to more or less stay. Rare to see even graffitis in those, so yeah: Finland is good place to live.
