Paid a visit to this place again, to kick the rust off of my light-painting skills. I feel like the Flaming Dude has gained some weight over the years... He looks a bit haggard.
The Northern Lights were out, but barely visible to the eye. It was only after the exposure was finished that I noticed them glowing on the screen.
Northern Ontario is an interesting place. While driving to this location, I stopped the truck to look down at some strange garbage left on the dirt road. Upon further inspection, it turned out to be several fish heads and spines, all gutted and thrown away. At 4:30am, I finished the two hour drive home after shooting, only to find out that a violent incident occurred in our small town just an hour before I arrived. This morning, four blocks of the town were taped-off by the police and have been all day. Still don't know what happened.

I call this image "Friends" This was taken at the town beach in Sioux Lookout, as a group of six teen girls watched me taking photos for a bit, then asked if I minded them sitting on the dock. They were pretty excited to see the photo after.
