This weekends trip to an abandoned hotel near me. Through researching I have found that it has only been closed since around 2014. Even with that it has apparently seen a large share of vandals and scrappers. A majority of the ceilings are ripped out as are much of the walls in certain spot as to remove the copper pipe. In addition wiring is removed and so has much of the easy to remove scrap items. May of the windows have been broken out both inside and outside. It is sad so many have trashed this place. I had seen pics from as little as 2 years ago where much of the building was still complete.

That being said it is still worth a visit if you are in the area. It has a cool factor none the less with so much having been left behind from when it closed. Some of the beds are still made although many are not anymore.

The Second floor is questionable in some spots and the decks were not on my to do list as you can see in some of the pics taken in the pool room area that they are beginning to fall. The pool room also hosted a bar as well as a mini golf course.

Mold is a major issue as well especially being as it was even when this place was still open (from information I have found). The roof has at least 2 spots as well that have began to fall in causing additional water to enter the structure.

Hopefully you enjoy these pics. More will be available as soon as I get my other camera and computer to get along.

Beverages, a putter, a ball, and a broom = a potentially unforgettable night! Based on the staged TV's, pics, and mirrors, I wonder if an auction was supped to happen at some point? Or perhaps it did, and that is the leftovers. Looks like a fun spot - nice share!

Looks like a pretty sweet explore; I love that pool shot and the mini golf area...that overgrowth is pretty wild also! Great pics all around, thanks for sharing!

Thought I'd add to this thread with photos taken back in May of last year, back when it was raining. I wish I had found this through research, but I had just spotted it from the side of the road. Hadn't planned on hitting this up at all, so I booked a room at a motel right next door to this abandoned one. Smelled vaguely better. Only vaguely.
