There was this abandoned hospital that was guarded and people were getting busted there a lot. There was only one possible POE and it had a camera on it.

There were two guard at all times, but they stayed close to to the guard shack to monitor the cameras. If they saw something on the monitors, one would go investigate while the other stayed to call 911 if necessary.

The mission was to get the guards out of the shack away from the monitors so the exploring party could get in the building.

So I drove straight in to the guard shack parked outside and both guards came out to greet us. My cohort and I began to tell this cockamamie story about how we were trying to find an old army buddy and the last we knew of him was that he worked in this hospital.

We kept the guards busy for a good 10-15 minutes. We left and parked a few blocks away and walked back to the hospital. The advance party got in and opened a side door to let us in. It was a hoot.

With 3 tresspassing charges, one of which I was let up by security (all of my charges have been using my photos after the fact to charge.) I also had homeland security investigating me for a while, however there's no use lying or "disproving" anything to authorities, as the idea of innocent til proven guilty doesnt exist in our legal system anymore, they will fuck you if they want to. So I've found that when they start calling, bending over and spilling it all usually has the best results.

I hope you were compliant with them... they can really lean on you if they want to.
High level FBI Agents work directly for/with them.
DHS alone has a 47 billion dollar annual budget.
They share information with all levels of law enforcement.

If you're going to lie to these agents it better be by omission.


I wouldn't be surprised if you got IDed by a smartcam network by breaching one of it's zones while roofing, some other high place or being too near a 911 hotspot.
They won't tell that; read between the lines.
These smartcam networks can reacquire you by your face alone, car and/or tag number. Some networks are now using FLIR for facial recognition in total darkness. The cams themselves can be well concealed and nearly impossible to spot.

I warned people here about smartcams over 10 years ago...

Of course I was, I have no disillusions of being able to outsmart a government agency such as that. They mainly were concerned about my motives and WHY i was doing such things. As far as how they ID'd me, I wasn't exactly surreptitious back then when I posted those photos.

There is a very large group of insta "rooftoppers" in Dallas, which post incessantly from accounts that have their real name tied to it, none of which ever get bothered by police as long as they aren't caught in the act.

So I mistakenly thought it wasn't something to be concerned about.

For the most part it was true, however after I started getting on some of the major bank buildings, some of which had (to my knowledge) never been infiltrated, that's when detectives started calling me, and engineers of various buildings downtown (who were supportive of my photos humorously enough) started messaging me informing me of security meetings with the police about being on the look out for myself and other rooftoppers.

The case with homeland was dropped after they realized I wasn't there to blow shit up or steal corporate secrets or something.

The distance and a double tree line made their bullhorns muffled and unintelligible.
There was a small crowd, even had EMT's standing by... an aid station.
Fuck me.
Not what you want to see from the treeline on a mission you thought went well.
Worse they had 2 hours or so for their imagination to ponder the murderous possibilities that might await them.

It was an unplanned local event... swell.
Fortunately I didn't pay for any of the police or emergency services including OT.
There was talk of it at first until things got untangled.
Taxi rides, car impound fee, and $560 in municipal fines... cheap.
