That's horrific. I don't even like the idea of moving something to get a better photograph. You want to touch as little as possible especially if you're in a place of historical significance. What if someone wants to do an archeological study on the site and we explorers have gone and fucked it all up? That is so awful.

Too much attention for the attention whores in my opinion but whatever.

YouTube has become the modern equivalent of "hey look at me guys" or "watch me jump off this roof" morons that have always existed in the teenage and even pre-teen crowd but now, people in their 30s and 50s that have no other claim to fame have discovered they can become little YouTube stars or Instagrunt celebrities.

As the population increases and some people begin to realize how really worthless and pointless their lives are, we will see more of this including the mass shootings of innocent people and even major vandalism that borders on sabotage. I mean how much attention can you get if you toss a wrench into some major active power station or set fire to a major structure next to active residences where people live and children play.

Kind of sad really but I cant help but laugh at these guys who had a few minutes of giggles and excitement in exchange for a few years out of their lives at the department of corrections.

Hope they enjoy being celebrities in prison haha! Im sure somebody in there will take, an, um, interest in them!

Not to thread hijack, but I seem to recall an incident with one UER member getting an unwanted golden shower from another UER member.

UER convention/meet-up where there was a sexual assault of sorts and the perpetrator got drunk at some point and passed out followed by someone from (I think) Wisconsin peeing on him.

That was a long time ago. Detailed memories fade.

I was pretty much along for the adventure back then and not really interested in the artsy photography stuff.

Up until just 2015, all of my UE photography was done with my phone.

Can't begin to imagine who would do such a thing. They don't have much to gain from that; surely they know if they attempt to sell what they took, someone's going to take notice? Fools. Hope they're apprehended swiftly.
