Actually "Janet Airlines" doesn't exit. Janet is the call sign assigned to the aircraft that fly out of Vegas to various sites in the Nevada Test and Training Range. They are easily identified by their white paint with a red stripe, but no livery like you would see on a commercial aircraft. Janet Airlines is a slang term used when talking about the planes or their air terminal out at McCarran airport here in Vegas.

I don't know if they also fly out of other cities as well. I did see a reference on Flight Aware of flights originating in Palmdale, Ca.

All interesting stuff. I wonder what snacks the aliens like on their flights?

I actually wouldn't mind heading up to Rachel to watch the festivities. It should be quite the event if you like to people watch. On the other hand, I'm not sure I want to be on the radar of some obscure alphabet soup government agency. Of course I need to order my high frequency aluminum foil hat before I leave town. Can't risk having my brains fried by the government.

LOL... Yeah, I've been in govt files for longer than most of the UER members have been alive. And no, I've never been arrested. Just a number of background investigations for various jobs I've had, and being a close associate of someone who carries a high level security clearance.

It comes as no surprise that the mine exploring community is similarly under observation. Long passages from two of my "rants" on a mine exploring forum ended up being quoted in a government white paper that was presented in a national conference. I actually took it as quite a complement since those posts were succinct enough to be used to represent the overall viewpoint of the mine exploring community.
