This place was a funeral home and then later became a music school. Was very stunning and beautiful and honestly, relatively untouched. It was very dilapidated but no tags and no trash. Just things left behind to rot.

Enjoy my posts! I had a four day weekend and drove to Detroit to explore. Was nice to get out of the house after a long winter and a shitty spring.

Hey, welcome to the site!

I love your pictures, and it would be really great if more people got to see them. I suggest you embed the URLs into the forum post. I know this board is old and won't automatically resize your images, but you should be able to select smaller versions of your photos within Imgur.

Looking forward to seeing more!

One day I got a good camera.

VERY nice photos, and thank you for sharing! I love exploring abandoned funeral homes and 'spooky' old houses as they inspire me to write more short horror tales.
There is a very similar place near my home (i.e. one time funeral home turned into a school for a very short time before being abandoned) but it has been sealed tighter than a drum in recent years. Here is a link to some photos I took of it a decade or so back.

I might try that because lately I've been having a hard time posting pics on here the way I used to. I think the main difference is the lower quality of phone pics and the lower resolution was different vs now I use an actual camera so the quality and resolution are much higher, making the site compress my pictures a lot. Thanks!

EDIT I'm not sure why this posted twice so if a mod could delete the duplicate, I would appreciate it!

If you zoom in on the book, it's a whole chapter about how make cousin marriage work without blending the bloodlines too much and having bad genes from the incest.

These photos you have posted are so beautiful, I love it! By the way, I also wanted to ask, how you guys find abandoned places? Are there some archives, base or something like this? And how can new people be aware and join? It looks so exciting I even found this https://uk.edubird...-statement-writing service to have more free time from college. So, I am ready even to pay for personal statement writing for my paper to be able to join discovering such places in my city.

Ew, spam bots. This one is a bit more sophisticated than most.

Indiana Jones wasn't an archaeologist, he was an urban explorer. Archaeologists do a lot less running and a lot more paperwork.

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

I didn't even realize it was down until you said that lol.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. It was a beautiful place, it's currently under renovation by the owner.

This post has gotten bumped recently and seems to be getting some traffic again so I would like to reiterate it's currently being renovated and the owner has cleaned it out. I last checked on it like 4 months ago I think. It's not "abandoned" anymore. Sorry guys lol.
