Morning shift week – whole fucking week I did wait for friday, dreaming how I would get on the road right after work. Hell yeah, it was sunshine for whole week… until friday, when it was raining. Raining. Raining. Actually it did rain so much that when I finally was on the road I did consider if I really should turn back. But my heart did win, and it was right: few kilometer before first location – abandoned farm at countryside - rain did end. Everything was of course wet, but also so damned beautiful. Colors were alive and so on.

After those beautiful, after rain moments there, I did finally decide to get on the road and to the next spot. But on my way there, my eyes did hardly spot something from collapsed barn. Quick stop and soon I was closer… and yes: there were old Vauxhall Viva and those old tires which really make me wonder where is rest of that car.
Viva Muerte:
It was quite quick stop, there were house bit too close. But there were more to shoot; after some driving, I was on that abandoned farm in the middle of wide open fields.

After that I was feeling quite tired and I really did hear call of home, shower, maybe one beer and so on. Also my camera did run out of power… but then I did drive pass this old Saab that I’ve looked few times before wondering that I should stop. It was at countryside, but still at little bit hard place. Anyway I did finally stop.

And today’s off-topic-bonus-shot goes to midsummer. And yes: midsummer’s eve is national ”get drunk” day here in Finland, and it also were 19th anniversary as engaged… and what did we do? My woman was driving her Ford, I was sitting and enjoying just two pints and one Motörhead The Lemmy whisky Cola can (excellent summer drink by the way), so there were no need to complain. Anyway, at next morning I was waking early and getting on the road with my sister – we did go to small river. This shot is from there:
That’s all for this time, so… Cheers it shall be!
