This spot began as a brewery in the 1800s, then hosted a bunch of random businesses - a clothing manufacturer, a producer of fire extinguishers, and an apartment complex - leaving a really disjointed bunch of artifacts laying around.

(Note: the address on the bottle is not the address of the location)

Looks like a cool place. I like the second shot a lot. And, the poison bottle. Awesome.

Looks like a nice little explore. I love smaller places like this.

These are some sweet pics...gotta agree with Apollo Mey; I really like 3, though 2 is great too. And of course, who doesn't love a big bottle of poison?
Thanks for sharing! 😀

At least they were kind enough to write the antidote right on the bottle!

Very cool set and location! I especially love the shots of the sewing machine and, of course, the bottle of poison!

Strong stuff. Household white vinegar only has about 5% acetic acid

Holy cow! I had no idea - that IS strong. I have a feeling it was used for dry cleaning in this instance. I’m surprised it didn’t “eat” the fabric.

Eating through clothing isn't a huge concern. Acetic acid works best with tannin stains (think coffee or wine), and it's some simple acid base chemistry. So stain removal doesn't remove the compound in the fabric. It just changes the color by neutralizing it. If don't believe me then wear a bleached shirt to a black light party. Anyway, the tannin is more readily reactive than say cotton or polyester.
