This won't be a long rambling post like my other two. I've got little to say about this drain. Its an obvious location and I suspect frequently visited, even though there is a lack of graffiti. Enjoy the few photos from a year or two ago.

The hazards a year ago were minimal if non-existent. If you're going to climb the ladder to the other pipe you'd better have some damn long legs. The room is perhaps only 75 meters in, and I don't believe the pipe goes anywhere if you follow it.

Cheers,

That 3rd pic is pretty cool to me. Looks like a black hole or a portal of sorts... Cool!

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

I went further in than the room, but I recall turning around...I can't recall why, might have just been uncomfortable with the crouch. The outfall itself and the pipe up to the room is 1800mm, from the room onward it turns to 1200mm pipe. So it's definitely a bit of a crouch.

My map tells me it branches off but I don't believe those are large at all. Maybe I'll push it further some day.

Cheers

I'm having trouble figuring out the spot, all I know that it's definitely along the Saskatchewan river but I can't pinpoint any drains there.

I’m pretty sure it’s near the Fraser bridge if you know where that is, correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve heard chatter about a pipe near there.
