Bloody hell, I did forget one place between this and latest post before this… well, we shall return to that soon. Anyway, at saturday morning I did decide go to check one or two ”could be” map finds from last winter.

I did drive far, then take some what long walk through the forest and yes: it was abandoned farm there. Sadly it was in so bad condition that there were no way to get inside. So it was time to check another one.

That did take longer walk through woods in the middle of nowhere and I must say it was pretty fever rising to see from my smartphone how I should be there at any minute, and still I couldn’t see anything except woods.

And then… is there bit less trees..? And there it was, amazing abandoned farm which did take next 2,5 hours and would have take even more, but my camera did run out of power even I did photograph very slow as I usually do. Already waiting for next visit, probably at summer.

Beautiful find and set, Wolfheart
The bonus shot looks right out of a Rob Zombie film.

Fantastic set as always...there does seem to be sadness conveyed here; those poor abandoned baby dolls! Oddly enough, "The End" by The Doors was playing on my computer while I was looking at these, and I had to give a morbid little chuckle when I heard the line, 'and all the children are insane'.
'Slow death of paint', 'once fallen', and 'fragile and broken' are my personal favorites. Thanks for sharing another great (and rather arduous it seems) journey, cheers to you, have a good weekend!

I came for the dolls that I was promised. You did not disappoint! Why is that one tied up? Creepy.
Also, Behemoth rules. \m/

Great shots! I always love your posts for their attention to detail. The wallpaper and dolls are especially cool, this place definitely has a melancholy to it.

Cool set. This one definitely has a sadness.

Thank you very much. And also that beautiful loneliness. Rare are places where I can pretty much relax, getting out of that annoying "someone will come" mood... but this was so far in solitude that it really was perfect place to be. Waiting so much next visit to there, waiting to see how it will look at summer (especially because there was that apple tree growing at one outside wall).

Thank you so much, and I must say that this did lift my dreams pretty high what comes those "maybe 50 could be map find" locations.

Must say that Rob Zombie have always run pretty much out of my music taste - except some extreme motorcycle films where it really have work. Anyway, whole Behemoth gig was pretty visual thing, so probably I must check something from Rob Zombie too.

Guess my feelings when entering to that Green Glow room... it was even more amazing than that photo shows. And what comes to that doll... I really don't know. Strange stuff.

And what comes to job... 5 weeks behind and have to say that not so bad this far. Of course I hate every day there, but still... it have been even worst. Much worst. And now I did get lucky with 4 days easter holiday; from morning shift to evening shift so... there is quite nice holiday going on. And yes, at thursday I did get on the road immediately after work and there is quite amazing stuff coming in few weeks... or at least I feel so. Tree growing inside car and so on. Cheers!

Yeah, must be '60s or probably '70s I suppose.

Yeah, that tied doll was bit surprise for me too, especially in there, far away of everything, in the middle of the woods.

And you have excellent music taste. Behemoth really rules (says guy who were yesterday at Beast in Black's gig - guess what next off-topic-bonus-shot will probably be).

Thanks, feels sooo good to hear something like this. I just love looking details too, it makes you slow down and takes more time too, which is good I suppose. Cheers!

The only band I ever saw love with the band wearing cloaks was Sunn O))). That was fantastic. And crazy intense. That shot you have here reminded me of that a bit.
