This was one of the first places I was able to go with my exploring partner when I got a car of my own, and it quickly became one of our favorites. We visited at least three times between the summers of 2016-2017, but I haven't been back since then, until last Saturday. I was expecting to see some changes, but I was still surprised to find that the largest (and probably best) building had been demolished, another major building rendered inaccessible above the first floor, and most oddly, that the visitor's center which had been operating in the old post office was now closed as well, with literally everything left in place:

1.)

2.)

3.)

4.)

However, one building which has always sat out in the middle of the property, in a very exposed area, appears to have not changed one bit, and is now the best remaining relic of this once massive complex:

5.)

6.)

7.)

8.)

9.)

10.)

It appears that the plans to redevelop this property into luxury apartments remain in place, with no indication of which buildings will stand and which will be erased. It was still nice to be able to take at least one more look at a location which I've always enjoyed, and which holds many fond memories.

Thanks for looking!

Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time.

Incredible set as always! The building in 5-10 is absolutely gorgeous, I really hope that it in particular gets left out of any apartment-building plans.

Amazing set as always! That looks like a pretty cool spot with everything left, but it sucks that the big building got demolished. That utility building looked like really cool one.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
