And then… I did return here.



They did talk how climate would get warmer… but little they did know; it was opposite.





After few years we were running out of food… and we did have to decide would we freeze to death here or try to get somewhere… we did decide to go.





There wasn’t many of us anymore, but we did start to fight our way through that white, dark hell. Snowfall, day after day after day after day.





It was many months after when we last hear human voices from radio... after that it was just white noise… and outside it… was… just white. White in darkness… we weren't even able to remember when was last time sun to shine.





Every meter through that snow filled land… through those forests that were fallen down by weight of snow… through that metal breaking coldness... but as long as we did move even little, there were hope.





But after all… we didn’t get too far. We did start to run out of fuel and out of food.





But until that we did freeze in our vehicles, dreaming about time when there still were warmness in world, when there were sunlight to warm our cold hearts.





But then… we did have to admit that this was it, end of the road… and end of our lives too.





And these last moments when I’ve been writing these words to my diary with my frozen hands… they have been so strange that I don't even know if it is true or have I already fallen into another reality… fast growing trees tied us down in to this eternal, cold white darkness.





And now, at the end… I still have slight and fragile flame of hope in my stone cold heart… hope that live still will carry on… life that even this eternal winter can’t wipe away. I wish that one day things will change and there will be sunlight and warmth… even I won't be there to feel that anymore. We didn’t make it, but at least we did try.

Got some Comancho corojo (red label) cigars; not Cubans but better.
Grown out country from the original Cuban seed stock before it was hybrid (many say bastardized) to stop the Cuban tobacco blight.
All corojo filler, binder and wrapper. These bitches are one spicy flavor bomb; tobacco candy.
This is the flavor they went nuts for over half a century ago in the old school Cuban gars.

I could see driving something like in those pics with a good Cuban gar
