Two work week back, so we shall continue with these "when I still did have my freedom" things. So next… I did go to check that other hint. I did drive far, fight my way through snowy forest… just to see how that abandoned farm wasn't so abandoned: it was kind of deere feeding (and shooting) place, so no photos from there. On my way back home, I did return here.

Touch of Sunlight:

Cold Silence (Waiting for the Summer):

While We Sleep:

Living with Style:

And Years Flow Past:

Like It Still Would Be:

Silent Music:

And today’s off-topic-bonus-picture shall give you some black and white. Taken in snowfall many weeks ago.

That was it at this time. Have a nice weekend and of course: cheers!

A real time capsule KO, Wolfheart.
Tell me that radio found a home
AM or shortwave?

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

Yeah, amazingly untouched, goes probably to second on my "most amazing time stands still place" list. Hmm, should return to that first place soon... anyway, that radio is old style, where that... Panel? View? is filled with European cities, so it must be AM I suppose. Really beautiful machine by the way. Sad that they don't make today anything like that.

Those old radios were like today's TVs/smartphones.
Literally the line to the outside world.
Folks would gather around them every evening to listen to the news, music and shows.
The owner is dead.
Which is why it sits there, alone.

Yeah, so it were. And I feel I'm happy that I'm old enough to remember times when we did have only two (2) tv channels, no way to record anything (I still remember how my parents did get first video and they did get it FEW DAYS AFTER FIRST STAR WARS CAME FROM TV - I did of course put sooo much hope to get recorded it to VHS, so it was BIG disappointment). Of course we didn't have smartphones etc... and still (I did born '76) changes in my life time have been quite small.

One of my dad's friend's dad was born at the end of 1800s and he did die at 2000s, so we can only try to understand how much world did change through his over 100 year life.
