This tip-off was given to me by my uncle, of all people, after I showed him my car graveyard set from "Ralph's Garage", which I posted here a few months ago. A lifelong classic car enthusiast, he found a video from this place on YouTube and sent it to me, noting that it seemed to be near me. It didn't take much searching to find it on Google Maps, and I was immediately blown away by the absolute scale of the location. It features several hundred cars, buses, heavy vehicles and RV's crammed into a few acres and stretching along a rural road for hundreds of yards, to say nothing of the barn, house and feed mill set back into the woods. The property is heavily posted against trespassers and vandals, but it is so remote and overgrown that I was able to spend hours wandering through the rusted hulks without any signs of other human life. After this meander, I tried to access the buildings, but they were either too tightly sealed, too crammed full of stuff or too rotted out to get any interiors. Not wanting to leave it at that, I spent a while longer wandering up and down the road to capture some of the endless patterns presented by the fading paint, rust, vegetation and rot.

This is fun
What's #9?
Porsche? At first I thought was a Ghia but no grill on Ghia's.

That is an early sixties MG A, predecessor to the MG B in shot #16.

Trying to figure out every type of car on this property would be a full-time job for someone, most likely a whole team of someones. I noticed cars dating from the forties through the nineties, ranging from bombed-out wrecks to very easily restorable gems. Unfortunately, it seems like the owner follows the standard pattern and refuses to sell anything on the property for any price.

A friend used to have a TR-3 convertible, what fun little hell raiser.
That's purdy even as it sits.
Unfortunately restoration is many times more an act of wuv rather profit.
Extremely time and money consuming to do right.
Rust, how I hate ye...

Absolutely epic find and great shots all the way through! As a lifelong car enthusiast this is the type of place I could spend a whole day at.

If this is your kind of thing you should DEFINITELY check out Old Car City outside Atlanta, if you are ever down that way!

Absolutely amazing! Every car photographed looks absolutely gorgeous, especially no.9. Shame they're all left out there, but it's really beautiful- I'm not even in to cars very much and I think I'd still need days to soak in a site like this. Great find!
