This HUUGE Abandoned $6,000,000 mansion has been on my map for a few years but I have never managed to get access, until recently! UER Member Micro managed to get in long before me back when the house still had some contents

The abandoned mansion, which is nearly 60 years old and on 2.5 acres of land features five-bedrooms, a main staircase reminiscent of The Titanic, and glassed-in pool just off the kitchen. Two huge bathrooms on the second floor each have a jacuzzi hot tub and the main ensuite bathroom also has a sauna.

This place was unbelievable!

What a set! Generally this looks too new and empty for my liking, but that pool alone is certainly worth the price of admission.

Sweet set
I just can't fathom wasting money like this... I never build something too big to clean by myself.
Lol, if the roof goes this place will implode.

Great pictures! I love the basement there. The brick arch into the bar area is my favorite by far. Thanks for sharing.

I'd love to see what McMansion Hell would say about this place, even if it is 60 years old.

Cool pool. 6 million for this place. No wonder it's abandoned!

Love this, that pool alone is badass! I like how the 'princess' room is already painted and decaled. Jacussis, staircase, chandelier...wish I had expensive problems like that (provided I had the kind of money to pay for them 😉)
Thanks for sharing!

I'm pretty sure I can fit my house into that upstairs bathroom.

I was initially confused why an indoor pool would need to be covered, but I'm just reading in another window that it is still required to minimize evaporation. That brings up another point for consideration; could it be possible that the entire pool sat undisturbed long enough for all of the water to evaporate?

Or someone just rolled it out for no reason. I doubt water would evaporate that fast unless it wasnt as full to begin? I've seen a video of an another abandoned mansion over here in the states with an indoor pool water filled up and cover half on. What about alge or something forming due to moisture?

I agree... it doesn't seem possible. And plus, that much water would surely have accelerated rapid-onset decay throughout the house on a scale much greater than what is seen here; almost like having a flooded basement, no?

Crazy that this place is nearly 60 years old, with everything cleared out in a lot of places it looks brand-new. The huge staircase at the beginning of the set reminds me a lot of the TV show "Haunting of Hill House", creepy. Thanks for posting, I especially love the shots of the pool, what a huge structure!
