I took these photos of the Minister's Treehouse in East Tennesee. I figured they're good first-post-on-UER material.
A bit of a backstory for those who don't know or like a little reading:
Horace Burgess, a local minister, claimed God told him through a vision, "If you build a tree house, I'll see that you never run out of material."
Burgess began building the treehouse in 1993, and as of 2013, the treehouse stood at ninety-seven feet tall. It relies on an eighty-foot tall white oak tree (twelve feet in diameter), and other smaller oaks for support.
The treehouse served as a church and a tourist attraction until 2012, when the state had to close off access due to it not following fire safety codes.
