Edit: After further research, I've discovered it is pretty certain that the tank and the shark are still in tact. The tank has been heavily damaged, but its still there.
I've heard conflicting stories. The first post I saw on it was this one, that claimed that the entire tank was destroyed, and all the formaldehyde had leaked out. Here's that report, but if you read further into my post, I have provided updates that indicate that it is only partially destroyed.
From what I've read, these vandals were extremely determined to destroy the tank and the shark. They ripped off the top of the tank and threw objects such as TVs and chairs into the tank. They continue to break into the place with sledge hammers and hammer away at the 3 inch plexiglass.
From news articles, and the post on the FB page I shared, I don't think the tank has been completely destroyed. Sounds like its slowly leaking. I hope that the efforts to save the shark succeeds.
Here are some updates from the "Save Rosie the Shark" FB page... Feb 17th 2019
"Save Rosie The Shark can confirm that vandals have smashed 2 panels on the tank. The glass has shattered all over but is still in tact for the time being. This is so dissapointing... Rosie is still in one piece, in the tank.

A neighbour close to Wildlife Wonderland has confirmed to me tonight that there has been no fire at this site. Atm hoons are doing burnouts in the vacant property. Polide DID lock the shed where Rosie is but it lasted ten minutes before vandals broke in.
The current owner has been notified by neighbours to do something about the derelict property, but he is yet to respond.

To the fools doing burnouts and smashing things at Rosie's current home, owners of the property have now hired security. Please stay away. The door to the shed housing Rosie has been closed and blocked off. People wanting to tresspass and see her can no longer do so.

Rosie has been mumified for 20 plus years. She will not fall apart. However, vandals have moved the lid off her tank and over time thrown water, petrol, a tv, chair and other items into the tank.
Because of this stupidity, the new owners will no doubt find it a little trickier to rehome her. It is going to take time, probably months, before we get to see her at her new home. It will happen though.

UPDATE ON ROSIE!
Police and previous business owners are in the process of starting to re home Rosie! We are told she is definitely salvageable and she will be heading off to Devon Meadows.
The process will take a bit of time to make sure it's safe to transport, but she will be heading to somewhere much better then an abandoned animal park.
We would also like to encourage people to STAY AWAY from the park.
Tune into 9 News Melbourne tonight for a full update.
