I've been doing a few smaller explores lately and reshooting some of my first ever spots. Here are a bunch of places I've done in the past week or two. If you go back to my old Flickr stuff you can see some of these places the first time I shot them.
1. I met with the owner since it's currently being redeveloped. It was a textile mill that made confederate uniforms at one point. There's been a lot of evolution of the building from over the years but this is the biggest it ever got I believe. The owner had a bunch of old documents and pictures, even some paper from Thomas Jefferson since he originally owned the land but then gave it to the mill people to build this place. This was my second explore, although I couldn't find a way in.

9. A few months ago some kids took all the fire extinguishers into this room and had some fun. Except the owner cleaned it all up himself. It looks cool tho

14. And now a before and after from 2 years ago to a few months ago.
15. Here's a random building I saw somewhere. I think it was city hall, but I'm not sure.
16. This was at my first ever abandoned place. It was an old power plant down the tracks from the mill. Probably the most unique place I've been to.

19. Revisiting the office building for a big tobacco company. This building is actually being used partially as a warehouse which I didn't know until I got in. I went to try to get into the power plant but there were people from an active garage watching me and my entrance. I'll half to try again soon though because they're about to renovate it. When I go back I'll also try to get into the executive offices which haven't been touched. People in the warehouse blocked any access I had to it so...

23. I'd been to this elevator many times but this was the first time I actually looked for a way in. I found a few but it reeked of pig feed and manure so I need to go back with a mask. Sorry if this picture takes a while to load, it's comprised of 6 I think 24mp shots.

26. Revisiting a paper mill. I went here over the summer but I though I'd check it out again.

28. This was the power plant for a huge brewery. I went to look at the beer tunnels under the complex that was used for storage but they were flooded.
29. Abandoned juvy. This was the only shot I wanted to get here but I was still being rushed like crazy because of the possibility of our car being stolen. I was told that I'd be shot if I went here but the locals must've been chiller that day.
