Interesting Abandoned building in Portland OR.

My friend and I were walking to band practice on the train tracks by I-84 when we came across the Gordan Fireplace building which I've been eyeing for a few months because there was always a few broke windows on the 3-4th floors so I knew that place had to be abandoned. We we went to the back of the building to try and find a way in and after only finding windows with bars over them we almost gave up. We looked a little further and found a hole that was probably 2 feet by 3 and we slithered through and found ourselves exploring this decently sized abandoned buildings, it was right on the highway so going on the roof seeing over everything watching the cars go by was awesome. I sadly didn't have my camera on me sadly. We ran into some sketchy squatters on our way out that tried stopping us then yelled at us calling us pussies and laughing for not stopping to talk with them. Hopefully next time I go and actually take pictures we won't run into anything! If you're in Portland or by it and want some interesting locations, feel free to message me. Also if anyone has some cool spots let me know!

Pics or it never happen...
Begging for hand outs here tends to go as poorly as naming locations by their proper names and giving away their access points.

First of all chill dude, jeeeeez. Second, I wasn't begging for anything I literally said if anyone is curious about locations I could help them out. Third I don't owe you anything, I didn't get any pics because I didn't have my camera as I stated. I got 2 vids but it doesn't let me add videos on here.

Many people tend not to view them though.

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

Sounds like you're quite chill too right now. You probably should've read some rules before posting stuff but it's too late now. Don't give names, locations, entrance points, anything like that. And if someone tells you that you messed up, don't take it personally and just take their advice. You'll never win an argument like that even if you might be right. Hopefully you can learn to be a UER.CA law abiding user (maybe not government law tho). Everyone likes pictures. If you know any java (I think) then you can put basically whatever you need in here. Or a least a link.

Anyway, welcome to the site. I look forward to more well written posts and pictures of your explores. Definitely pictures...

It better be really interesting if you post it on the Main forum...
rather than on the appropriate regional or Photography forum.

Ehhhh yeah dude this post bums me out a bit. I don't want to be a dick, and you've obviously been told the rules, plus I've got pretty much no seniority on you here. But that building is a beautiful gem, and it's for lease, meaning they're not planning on tearing it down, which is pretty special around here. Please, please, PLEASE, understand that your post is publicly viewable to anyone, and none of us here want to see it fucked up more than it has been. I don't know if you're down to edit your post, and I won't tell you what to do, but I will say that taking down that info would be relieving to me.
