Question about image 1. I know where this is and have been exploring the canal in the last week. This a long canal and it is full great art work. Where did you enter the canal? The walls are pretty tall and would require a rope to climb down. Any POE tips? Also going to wait for the water levels to go down before I attempt a climb down.

I live very close to the canal. There is so many spots that you could enter with without a ladder. go searching its only a few miles long. wait until the rain is over it fills wicked fast.

Hey everyone, was wondering if there were any active members here from the East Bay?? I've been into UE for several years now with my friends and was hoping to link with anyone who shares the same interest.

Not from East Bay, but down to link if you’re down.

Me and a couple of my boys want to find more spots to hit up if you'd be down to meet up. I want to find more railroad spots, the pics you posted of the rail bridge looks like an incredible spot. I'm in the Hayward/ San Leandro/ Castro Valley area.

I know this is an old post, but kinda wanted to poke at in here since with the weather finally calming down from the heat, I would love to actually go out and explore again

Don’t explore too much where I live ironically, but I’m stationed here in the east bay too.

The issue with exploring out here in the east bay is that many of the places are already covered up or have been renovated.

I've been to quite a few of those places! I remember that in 2017-2019, I served a religious mission in Texas for two years. The months before I left for for my mission, I did a ton of exploring where I visited multiple places every weekend with another guy who I linked up with on this forum, and we explored a lot of those places. When I came back after my mission two years later, a lot of these places had been demolished already. Just a sad reality of the every growing Bay Area and the fact that abandoned places have been getting demolished like crazy to build new buildings. You can still find places, but not at all like you could a few years ago.

I'm living outside of Mexico City right now, but I do return to the bay area every six months about to visit. I would be willing to do some exploring the next time I'm in town.

Before jumping to conclusions, I'm not a Nazi.

We should!

I would be very much down for it, esp with the weather being cool now.
