Midland Police are investigating a deadly fire at On Point Oilfield Operations that killed one person and injured another in Midland County, TX on January 15th, 2019. Police say the accident involved two-semi trucks that caught fire causing the building to burn. One person was killed and another was hospitalized with serious burns.

Inside story; the trucker was off loading oilfield production water (this contains volatile crude) at the collection station.
It ignited, most likely because he didn't use a grounding strap ie ESD.
The worker at the station tried to save him but was unsuccessful and was seriously burned in the process. The driver was DRT.
The facility was seriously damage although it's small tank farm was not involved in the blaze.
The loading terminal was completely destroyed.
The exact cause may never be determined but was most likely operator error.

Yes well, there's an ocean of oil here under our feet...

Unfortunately I was not able to get any other angles on it or closer to it.
The site had armed guards, WTF?
OSHA, insurance investigators and god knows what else were there either out of frame or hidden behind the collapsed terminal.
