I wanted opinions on what is your favorite travel tripod. I would like to get a super light yet sturdy tripod. My current is a Manfrotto travel tripod:

I like it quite a bit but it gets heavy real quick and it snags things when i attach it to my backpack.

I use a Manfrotto video tripod which is good when I'm doing video but really annoying when I want to shoot vertical or level a shot. I'd love to have something like yours for mor portability and a ball head. I've never used one but monopods might be an option. The portability is a major pro compared to the cons. I don't have much experience with different tripods so I'd like to see what you or other people come up with.
I have the older version of this: https://www.manfro...ith-mt190x3-tripod

Since I only have one traveller tripod: the Feisol CT-3441T. Weight is fine, vibration resistance too. I bought it in 2009, and it's beginning to fall apart (can't tighten the leg screws properly anymore, so the legs are swinging quite loose).

I'm going sound like a jerk (and this is my second attempt at a reply in hopes of not being as much so...), but what you have linked is a very minimal tripod in all aspects.

It is very minimal in weight and bulk. Very few tripods w/head (aside from tabletop tripods) will be lighter and/or smaller.

It is also very minimal in sturdiness and unextended-center-column working height. Many tripods can improve on one-or-both aspects (often significantly), but at a cost of increasing some weight and bulk.

Being already on an extreme in one aspect you'd still like to improve severely constrains your options to improve anything else.

This is what I have. It fits in my suitcase and is versatile. Built better than anything I saw at Best Buy and holds weight okay. Not the best if you're in strong wind or flowing water.

Edit: fixed link

I have a medium weight tripod from Dynex - goes most places I go.
I can't remember the model or what I paid for it - it has been some years ago.

Manfrotto Befree.

I bought it for the sole purpose of being able to safely carry it in airplane cabin baggage, but it's an all-round great piece of kit that I use all the time.

Due to the inertia their weight provides, heavier tripods have a stability edge when shooting unless you weigh down the lighter ones.
Some lighter ones have hooks to attach weights.
The old heavy wooden tripods work well because of this and the wood's vibration damping.
The same is true with the heavy composite tripods.

So that weight isn't a bad thing necessary...
