So, I went back and found the set from the first time I went to this location four years ago.

http://www.uer.ca/...urrpage=1&pp#post0

There it is. Mostly to show the difference of what a few years makes.

This is one of the only explores of 2018 I made.

Thanks to Baldaran, and General Zod for meeting up. Two cool dudes to spend a day with running around this rust pile.

Most shots are handheld, 'cause I was dumb and forgot my tripod. Thanks Baldaran for loaning me yours for a few shots. Super appreciate it.

A lot of people know this place, and the name. I want to say, be careful if you want to try it soon. A scrapper was found dead here. And one scrapper jumped into the freezing river trying to evade the cops.

I really enjoyed the simplicity of 'Treeterior' and the excellent focal depth layers in 'Bokeh Detail'.

My wife wants me to make one of those B&W last-name photo frames and I'm having trouble finding an M-shot in my own pics. Your 'M' is giving me good inspiration on other ways to accomplish it.

Awesome, I've been waiting to see how you made out here! I really love your photos of the little details in this place, especially the way use use depth-of-field in 19 and 22, and I'm a sucker for the various signs and labels. The way you handle the lighting in every shot is sublime, too.

This trip was loads of fun, hope we can get together again sometime soon!

Also, I was here the day they found the dead guy, we walked past the guy calling it in thinking he was insane. Little did we know we walked past a real dead body by only a few feet. Waited inside for hours while responders came and left.

The scrappers inside left while we were there and the cops caught them (nobody even bothered to lock the gate after they caught them.

I was only on the mainland over Christmas holiday. Managed to break away from family for half a day.

Crazy story! I met the scrappers when I was there also. Pretty sure it's the same dudes.

I waved to them when we entered so they knew we were there, but didn't make any more contact until I saw them leaving from across the main turbine hall, but they were too far away to yell to to warn them. Thought for sure they had seen those cop cars outside, but nope.
