A friend of mine told me about a place that he knew the owners of. He sent some pics and it looked like just some tagging spot but it was close so I checked it out. He also said that it was being renoed soon so that just made me more likely to go. We pulled up and parked at the gate outside, which was conveniently left open (not by the owners, it was just like that). I noticed as we walked in that the barb wire on the fence was so mangled that it looked like people had just been hanging on it. A few seconds after I realized that the fence stopped right at the front entrance, which was conveniently missing a door. The guy I was with had us go in through a missing garage door though. Upon entrance I realized how empty and tagged it really was. You'll notice I got practically no pics. I was actually stuck on the roof most of the time. The stairs up to it were missing so I had to sketchily walk up the beams. It was raining outside so my shoes got soaked. I also didn't get any pics on the roof because I spent all of my time (over an hour) trying to figure out how to get back down. The only options were to jump 10 feet onto a roof that couldn't hold you just standing on it and then try a most likely locked door to some stairs, cross a beam over a 50+ foot drop to another 15 foot drop onto the floor, or the sketchy way that we came up, but with soaking shoes. We started the climb down the now much slippyer beams and eventually made it to the ground. It was dark by then. I only went through half of this building and probably a quarter with my camera. Hopefully you'll like these few shots.
1. Some stairs that led to a room missing it's floor.
2. The same stairs, different angle.
3. The view from the top of the stairs. Just to show what the place looked like.
If you want to see some more I got with my phone, they're on a Highlight on my Instagram.
And if anyone can tell me how to not make the number and descriptions links that would be greatly appreciated.
