New Years Eve I got up early and remembered a spot that I had always passed when I was younger and decided to take a look inside finally, the ceiling had collapsed in some spots so alot of the rain from outside was getting in, but some nice shots came out of it

1)This was the first area with the ceiling still sound right after the entrance



2)The door to the right of 1) led to this big opening with a decent amount of graffiti



3)Someone apparently didn't have enough time to finish their work



4)Looks like there was a second floor but i think the stairs to it collapsed a while ago



5)The doorway in the center of the first picture led to pretty tiny room



6)Once the rain died down I checked out the biggest room, which had next to no ceiling left at all



7)Past that room the only hallway left looked mostly all collapsed



Afterwards i tried pulling info up on the building but past finding the address i couldn't find anything on the building, or what it could have possibly been used for. One of these days here soon I'll head back and see if I can't explore any farther though it when its not raining

A customer came into my work yesterday, talked to him for a bit and turned out lived near the building, he said that it used to be a chicken hatchery that was built in the early 60's by someone in town and shut down in the 80's. Not gonna lie wasn't expecting that but looking at the layout, I can see it with room sizes and the layout

I live in maryland, fairly close to the VA border. Def need to get down there some more
