Last saturday, another day for checking one of my latest ”it could be” Google Earth finds. Driving far, far to countryside. There would have been two potential houses near to each other, but I did check only one of them; there were sound of chainsaw coming from bit too close to that other… and even to this one; it was bit too quick visit but few shots anyway.

Cold Days, Old Days:

Winter Silence:

Heavy Weight of Oblivion Above Us:

Red Horse’s Grave:

Cross to Burn:

Fear of Light:

After that quick visit to new place, I did return to this ”few times before” location. Last visit before this was at February, so it obviously was time.

At the End of the Road:

Moskvitch:

Soviet Dreams:

Let Them Grow, Let Them Die:

Still Years:

End of Life (As We Know It):

Falling Trees:

December Sadness:

TV-Time Chaos:

Dreams from the Poppy Meadows:

----

And today's off-topic-bonus-extra-photo comes from 2013 and shall take all of us to very merry christmas mood! I did spot this view at local shop’s toy section, pretty gloomy view – spot also those blond dolls that look like they would be doing ”HAIL!” while those teddy bears hang from their necks. This still makes me laugh, because I'm 99% sure that who ever did this, didn't notice what he/she were doing.

Merry christmas to everyone!

Probably my own favorite from that place too... and you can be sure I wait next spring when there would be more light. Thank you very much.

Great set Wolfheart
Lined up some more stone cold keepers.
#3,4 and 5 are my favs.
It always struck me as insane good jouses would be left to rot.
What are the origins of that cross ie local craftsman? Never saw one like that.
Are those Russian cars?
Circa 60's?

Thank you so much! And yeah, so it does. My worst find was diaries from early 1900s... since then that place were closed - I so much hope that owners did safe them and not just leave them.

I suppose that match made cross have been some kind of hobby work for someone.

And yeah, that is Russian car, Moskvitch, probably from '50s or '60s. Those were very popular cars at that time in Finland; cheap price comparing to others and of course after war here was that rationing thing - it was easier to get cars from our "friendly" neighbourgh than west. Have to keep good relationship to that dear at that time. Thank god Finland did always keep it's independence.

I venture it's safe to say the owner of those diaries has been dead for at 20 years maybe much longer. Might be historically interesting to read; 3+ generations ago.
