I found this suspiciously abandoned looking building after doing random satellite "recon" on Google maps. Upon arriving on site I was excited to find that it was as I had suspected; a decent sized hospital! This building closed in around 2008, after the staff moved to a newly constructed building, and had sat slowly rotting away since.
I'd started exploring (officially, I guess) not long before this find, and it was my first hospital...time, along with vandals, had left their marks, there was a water leak on the first floor (in the labs), vultures roosted on the roof and the third floor, but I still found quite alot to photograph. Without a tripod, and not being practiced in low-light shooting, many of my pics came out grainy...this compilation features my better pics, taken on two separate trips, the last one being on July 4th of this year.
Sadly, I was recently informed that this location is currently undergoing demolition...so while it's not the same as being there, I wish to share my experience for those who will not be able to explore this place for themselves. I only wish I'd been able to put aside time in these last 4 months to do a more "professional" reshoot.
Rest in Peace, awesome hospital...
Hope you all enjoy these pics!

Nice shots, Number four's interesting to me because it's related to what I do, and that panel is super archaic.

I'd wager they took all the beds with them when they moved. Modern hospital beds are expensive. The one you have pictured actually looks more like an old bariatric rather than a standard bed.

Thank you both, glad you enjoyed! Yeah, it's sad to see it go...I joke that urbex helps me deal with my 'abandonment issues', not sure how to take the loss of a good site (aside from finding and exploring other places!).
Never_sleep, I think this hospital was originally built/opened in the '50s, and had a real retro feel to it. I don't know much about the updates (or usage) of the equipment, but it did seem rather outdated. The bed frame was in the triage/ER area, if that helps in identifying what kind it is...

It's location probably doesn't mean very much. Most small hospitals keep a couple of them and pull them out as needed. Might have been the ED bed for rotund patients.

#7 is also interesting in that the panel seems to be lacking a yellow hook up, which is room air. Green is o2 and white is for suction.
In newer hospitals you'll also have a 50 psi outlet for room air. These are necessary for most equipment that relates to breathing such as ventilators.

Those are modern hookups though. Older ones I've seen protrude and were screwed on. The Orange cable there is for transferring vitals to the computer system directly so you don't have to physically chart every number and value.

Red outlets are guaranteed to have power. Critical equipment is only used on red outlets, which have generator backup.

Thank you, this was a particularly proud moment in my beginning explorations; hospitals and schools are my favorite finds.
