Resusci Anne and Resusci Baby Have Seen Better Days

Parts of this large abandoned mill and power plant were first explored by Yokes in 2007, this from the DB entry for this location.

In the spring of 2016 I stumbled upon a part of this large facility called the Administration building while exploring with Ground State. We made our way in and explored as much as we could and I would return a few days later to finish the job as there was so much more to see.

In 2016 the highlights were the discovery of Resusci Anne and her baby, along with a surgery room, medical supplies, hazardous materials, stool sample kits, needles and more.

It would become a popular spot in 2016 but much of the building was also sealed off, eventually people started getting caught and the site was sealed.

i had been thinking of the location this year with the recent closing of another plant in the area and decided to see what 2 years had done to the place. Once inside I discovered that all of the doors that were once locked/sealed off were no longer and I was able to see every building that was a part of this old mill, including the power plant that once provided the power for the plant.

Oddly, there was power in some parts, in very old and run down parts, which made for a heightened state of alertness and a fun explore.

I would return 3 times to make sure i didn't miss anything but i'm not yet done as I've still not made it into the plant that was most recently closed. I know some have, so I am looking forward to my opportunity, whenever that may be.

Anyway, here are the pics from this summer and the whole set from 2016 and 2018 can be found here:

Weird, weird! Damn... she should have gone and gotten her shingles vaccine. I don't get whether that is mold or something else. It almost looks like someone dumped lighter fluid on her and lit her up for a bit. Strange photographic choices perhaps, but the two visuals that I keep scrolling back to are #20 and #27. Well shot.

It was awesome 2 years ago and is so much better now! The old mill and power plant is a maze to navigate and find your way around!

Thanks for the comment
