Thanks for sharing. I get the same cathedral feeling in barns as you. Old world craftsmanship is something we rarely see in new construction, and definitely don't see in a modern steel barn.
This beauty was built around 1860. All the wood was felled and milled on the property, and raised by hand. My first look inside gave me chills.....
Not the best pic. Must have been a finger print on my cell phone lens, but you get the idea. I have since gotten in the habit of checking and cleaning the lens before shots, especially those with lens flare....
Long before I started taking pics of explores, I have always wanted to collect B&W's of old churches and barns - Wisconsin is FULL of both. I am finally looking into buying my first real camera. Those B&W's may actually happen now.
