Unfortunately, I know little history of this place. From what I could find, this place opened up possibly as early as the 1870's. The Tannery continued to operate all the way until it closed in the early 1980's, due to lack of business and environmental concerns. Anyway, on to the pictures:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

7.

8.

9. (Personal Favorite)

10.

11.

For anyone curious, these were shot on a Fujifilm X-E1, with a variety of vintage manual focus lenses.

Always open to comments/criticism, let me know

Love 'em, especially the color contrast in #2. Was the wall red and gray like that already or did you adjust it later?

And the typewriter in #6 is likely a SCM Coronet Cartridge 12, or at least something from the Coronet line. The black block towards its right side is the ribbon cartridge.

Really great shots! I like your composition. Are these just using the natural lighting?

Congrats on using manual focus! It shows! Love the clarity and richness a person can get when doing so. The chair and the headlights on the car are great...but, i also like #10. The stone work and brick, along with the lighting and imagining where the doors and windows were makes a cool pic.

Thanks! Wall was red and gray naturally, just a little bit of red saturation boost in post.

Cool info on the typewriter! I don't know much about them

Thank you! All under natural lighting. Used a tripod and some slightly slower shutter speeds.

Thanks! I'm a huge advocate of vintage glass, you can get some super sharp lenses for really cheap, and true control of the focus, DOF, and composition. But don't tell too many people or prices will start rising
