I flew to Europe many times for exploring, mostly in the UK, France, Austria, Italy and Slovenia. Flew to US a couple times as well, first explores were in Colorado, followed by MSP 2 years later. Also took a 7.5hr drive to explore in and around Philadelphia, and many more shorter trips, usually between 3 to 5 hours, in Quebec and Ontario.

But the one that truly takes the cake for me was a series of flights (32hr long total) to get to Australia and explore drains for 10 days, followed by a 10hr long drive from Melbourne to Sydney.

You are hereby, as of this moment, now required to elaborate. You jumped out of the plane on your own free will, now you have to pull that rip cord!!!

Nah, I don't wanna hurt any feelings. Lets just say, I was on the road for like 10 hours+ for nothing.

Yes Pripyat and the Duga. Absolutely worth it and the flight is the only real cost. 11/10 recommend

This is on my bucket list!! Big time!

I've driven about 6 hours and flown to Europe a couple times, as well to explore. Mostly Germany. I'd love to even hit up some of the Eastern US cities and would fly for those too.

I flew to Ukraine

So have I, for Pripyat of course.

Also fly to Japan for Gunkanjima

Flew to Iraq and Afghanistan and did some exploring also, all on Uncle Sams dime! Lol

Driving it’s been about 9 hours one way

Driven? I've probably driven a total of 14 hours to get somewhere before. I've travelled to places specifically for urbex too like Mexico. Sometimes on long weekends I will just get in my car and drive and stop when I see things that are interesting and then I keep going until it's dark and just get a cheap motel wherever I am.
