Nice, I dont think it would be demolished, its more likely someone would buy the place to fix up.

yeah id like to find out any potential reason this is abandoned. I don't know the location, but it seems like this is a nice house.

It really depends on why it was abandoned. I found this place just the other week: https://www.uer.ca...=1&threadid=128757 Evidence showed it was abandoned between 2001 - 2005. It was really a nice house, sans the horrid wall paper, and quite restore-able. But when it was abandoned, it was purchased by the same developer that owns the neighboring industrial park. It will continue to rot until either the city makes them raze it, or the developer is ready to use the land.

I have also been in houses that were rotting away while the children fought in court over who gets Mom and Dad's house. And homes that fell into the hands of the state for lack of a will, then the state did nothing with it because, well, gov't....

There must be countless other reasons. In short, one would hope such a beautiful home would find a family. But it seems regardless of how beautiful, historical, or well located a home is, it is not out of the reach of decay. So very sad.....

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

Finally had a chance to drive by this house again the other day. The house and entire property has been cleared and is now a dirt lot.

That's a bummer. It really was beautiful. At least until it was "Time 2 Party" :/

Normally I like locations better without graffiti but the art here makes for a great shot with the natural light. Good pictures OP

I think that most of the writing and drawing was actually from when the house was being lived in. The house was near a major University and I think it was home to a large group of students. It's not the typical graffiti that you see at every other site.

Yea that would definitely make sense. Some of the outside graffiti is probably from after it was abandoned. However, some of the inside graffiti certainly looks like college students attempt at making their house homey.
