This place is one of the largest left in the area. It's no brachs but it's just as well know. It's all the better since the security is either lazy or non-existent depending on the season. You could definitely spend a lot of time here and get some nice views of the skyline. Don't get your shoes stuck in the sticky floors!

Pretty nice set. Some of the images have that desaturated urban look to them. In future posts, I'd recommend labeling each of the pictures with a number so that people can comment on the pics they like the best, otherwise good job!

Thanks! I always forget to put in those numbers. I've been messing around with different editing styles and I'm relatively happy with this one.

Love this factory so much! I've only been in here once during the day time, all the other times we've done night explores. And all those times, we've taken the train and walked. I've had so many good stories with this one.

From doing a completely dark explore during a snow storm, dead phones and no flashlights, to hearing Spanish trumpets on Cinco de Mayo, to the large mob attack on the subway causing me to get interviewed on the news (lol). I've had plenty of fun here and we still haven't fully finished exploring it.

These photos are so good. I wish I had an eye for good composition and getting those decaying textures. Those photos of the entanglement of pipes in the ceilings are gold.

Security is BAD here. Like good bad, only saw them once on the first time exploring this place, never saw them again. They even left the main gates open a couple times.

Thanks! Sounds like you've had some interesting experiences based on this place! It's definitely a local treasure. I'd like to go at night to get some rooftop skyline shots.

There really is so much to see here. I missed stuff and spent over 8hrs here. It's always worth the trip

Love this place, it's one of my favourite derelict factories I've explored anywhere in the world.

Quite how we managed to get seven of us inside during the middle of the morning without getting the cops called on us I will never know!

It's really cool. We've had some good spots here in the Midwest! The locals don't tend to care around this place. They are probably used to people since it gets a lot of traffic. Seven is a pretty big group though lol

Thanks guys! I think the faded desaturated look works for abandoned things though sometimes a shot just demands a little more saturation.

There was several different odd non abandoned standard smells throughout which I couldn't quite place. New mold species? Gumbase? Who knows.

I think the smell is a mixture of mold and gum materials. Some floors had it worse than others.

Thank you. It's kinda hard to get a bigger view of the place. There's a few cool vantage points though.
