New Hopesfall songs "Faint Object Camera" and "Tunguska" has me editing old pictures tonight of stuff I had never taken a second look at. All of these are from the summer of 2015. Mix of infrared and cell phone shots. Don't judge on the cell shots. 1-4 are with an IR converted Nikon D70 body and the rest were with a Samsung Galaxy S5.

1. Buffalo State Hospital

2. New York State Sanatorium turned State Prison

3. Saratoga County Homestead

4. Factory with a car on smoke stack, New York

5. Horse drawn hearses, Ontario, Canada

6. Preakness Hospital demolition, New Jersey

Pic #5 is elegant in creepy kind of way. The hearse is beautiful in a building that is crumbling around it.

I forgot we did that place together. Wasn't it in the middle of winter but it was as humid as the middle of summer of inside? I wish I took more pictures. Not nearly enough.

There you are! Before I ever even had a smartphone.

Thank you. I didn't have much salvageable pictures from there but it was one of the coolest places I ever saw. Demolished now, not sure what ever came of those hearses.

Yea! That place was disgusting even in the winter.
I think my camera battery died when we were at Greystone earlier that day so I went through Preakness with no gear.

Thank you! It's always been a nice escape for me from traditional color photos.

That may have had the worst air quality of any place I've ever been. Fergus Falls in the middle of summer is a close second though. I totally forgot that happened to you there...ugh. Didn't the Taurus break down too at Greystone?

One of my favorites man! We had a BBQ down in Levittown afterwords. I'm sure we were grilling Chinese Sausage hahaha

hard to believe how many years ago now that was.

Oh yea I forgot about that. There was something wrong with the fuel system and it wouldn't start until you let it sit over night. So there it sat at Greystone for 2 days.

I miss your old Taurus to be honest. That baby had a lot of character.

great stuff!

I wish I spent more time at Preakness. That place was about 100 feet from where my mom's childhood home was and I didn't realize it was there until the last year of it's existence.

it was black mold city in there though.
