Today was a total washout! I really wanted to get out so out I went in the rainy depths of an abandoned Water Treatment Plant/mill. Beautiful area. The parking lot was the only thing that put me in an weird mood. Just so happened that as I pulled up there was a nice lady of the night doing what she does best in the back of an SUV.

Apart from that and the washout it was a pleasant little hike up to this small abandoned gem. Lovely river flowing and easily accessible buildings. Including an old tire place. No roads around so it was a little weird that the tire place was in the middle of nowhere. Also a couple of locked buildings. Was quite a pretty place to explore.

And just because it was so beautifully wet and humid I hiked up to the waterfall near the plant and took this for my troubles as a nice non urbex prize

It was dark, my heart was pounding, I just had to go in

Awesome set - thanks for sharing! And thanks for the bonus pic at the end - beautiful!

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

Some pretty awesome shots. I really liked the one with the light coming through the roof, and the bonus pic was pretty sweet too.
