Two of the most famous products of Berkeley are LSD and Unix. I don’t think that this is a coincidence.

I posted about the Ford plans, but had not heard about this. That is damn awesome. I still won't take anything from a location, but it shows these weren't burglars rather they were preserving artifacts in lieu of burglars. Just awesome. Thanks for posting!

Give abandonment a reason for its sacrificial reclamation to nature. Love it. Remember it. Take a picture. Share it. Leave the decay to nature.

This makes me so happy. The building already looks great. Can't wait to see how it looks when it's done.

Truly an amazing building. One of my favorite explores EVER! Even in its decayed state, the station was incredible.

I am stoked that Ford is breathing new life into it! The people who thought it deserved to be dumped in a landfill were totally wrong.

But most people don't have an eye for good engineering and have trouble seeing beyond broken glass and crumbling brickwork to the sturdy structure underneath, which is why we lose so many of these incredible bandos for bland big-box developments.
