Misty mountain cablecar station

This abandoned cablecar station was on the same mountain as an abandoned hotel that I posted here a couple days ago. The building was locked up pretty tight and I thought I wouldn't find a way in, but then I find a secret passage into the basement underneath the cablecar tracks. The basement was pitch black and full of bats and I eventually found a way up to the next floor. This was such a fun place to explore because it really felt like a maze finding my way up to the top of the building. And it really felt like a time capsule to 1950s Japan. The whole place reminded me of the vibe of the Fallout video games.

Another awesome set! Lucky score on the fog... it really adds to the feel...

Looks like a humid day. I recall when I visited Nagasaki around 2006, it was as foggy as this when I took an active cable car up a mountain, which was totally pointless considering the lack of visibility but still worth it.

WOW, this is one of the most mystical urban exploration locations I've ever seen. I can hardly believe it's a real place, great place and great shots!

Love #1 and #5 especially. What a cool, vertical building. Also, is that a fencing mask in #16?

Very nice! I like the gear house (or mechanical room) shots, but you can't beat fog shots. I explored a mostly abandoned mining town in Pennsylvania a few years back and was fortunate to arrive on a foggy morning, adding a 'silent hill' ambience to my shots. Well done, thank you for sharing!
