Those pictures are so cool. I'm obsessed with you TV photo, 4, it's an interesting juxtaposition between nature and something so unnatural. I've also never seen a TV angled like that... normally they're on a flat surface. It gives it a weird organic quality almost like its looking up at something!


This whole thread makes me want to run away to ride the rails and live the rest of my life as an eccentric film photographer.

I picked up a Canon EOS650 at an antique store for a few bucks, and have been getting a lot out of it mounted with my 14mm lens, so here's my latest from Pennsylvania/Maryland, and my first film shots of Vermont, all on Fuji 200.

Skatchkins your photos are really good looking.
I had no idea that this was even possible. Is it a special camera and film that allows to take the light even on the holes ? How was it supposed to be processed after ? Just by croping inside the part you needed ?
This effect is really cool.

Thanks. Just shoot 35mm through a medium or large format camera. Once finished, rewind the roll in the dark, send out to the film shop and tell them develop only (do not cut), then scan at home.
It's about that simple.

I've never realised the whole film was sensitive to light, I thought there was only some part of it. Thanks for sharing

I have some SO-279 in the freezer at home. Seeing this makes me want to mess with it some. Did you process E-6 or C-41? Very nice work! I have a few I need to post when I get home from work of some expired Ilford PanF that I was very happy with the results.

Just thought I would post these here and see if anyone has some tips. I've only been shooting film for about a year and before that had never really done photography. All photos were shot on 35mm with either my OM10 or OM1. These are some of my favorite shots but I'm trying to grow and improve. Please feel free to pick these apart and lend some criticism, all feedback is good feedback!

8. Kodak Ultramax 400 - My only long exposure that turned out okay so far. This is the only shot here that has been edited, and it was barely salvageable. This was shot at f5.6 shutter speed 4 minutes

Nice thread with great photo's taken with film.

These photographs I took in the 1980's with
an old Mamiya Press camera and a 6x9 120 film
back. At the time I was experimenting with the
BW Zone System using multiple developers and
toners in the darkroom.

you what that magic camera looked like. It was
a real workhorse I picked up for $80 at a garage
sale! Wish I would have kept it.
